Never Been Bit - Lydia Dare

Lydia Dare's paranormal historical romances feature the hottest theme in paranormal combined with the most popular time period in historical romance. This is the third in a trilogy of vampire Regency romances, where the glittering world of English high society is a playground for the rich, titled, and undead.
Vampire Alec McQuarrie's heart was broken long before it stopped beating. Now Alec's after-life is an endless search for pleasure. Young witch Sorcha Ferguson has come to London in search of a man, beast-or even a blood sucker-of her very own...

This was deliciously satisfying and I’m discovering that Lydia Dare never fails to please me. This sadly is the wonderful end to the Regency Vampyre Trilogy and a happy goodbye to our coven of five witches that we have all come to love and adore.  What I love about this book is that we have a book where witches, vampyres and Lycans can all grace the pages and it works perfectly.
In this story, we follow our youngest witch, Sorcha Ferguson down the path of; you don’t always know what’s best for you until its right under your nose. Sorcha has the wonderful gift of nature. Any plant, you name it; she can bring it back to life and will it do as she pleases.  She is so cute, like want to slap a big ol’ kiss on her check and hug her. I loved her character; she was just so charming and really likeable.
Sorcha has set out in search of a husband, but no matter what her coven sister tell hers – she believes that a Lycan is in her future and nothing can persuade her otherwise. Little does she know that old friend, Alex has come to her protection and maybe even more.
Alec MacQuarrie. We all know Alec from the previous novels. He was the poor sap who was head over heels in love a witch he didn’t return the feelings.  He has a lost and broken heart and thinks there is no way back from the dark place in which he has ended up. I felt so sorry for Alec, he is such a beautiful character and it was so nice to finally see both Alec and Sorcha get their happy ending.
Never Been Bit, is the perfect wrap up to a brilliant series. This series has just enough spiciness to keep you hot under the collar and wanting more.  These are the type of books you just fall into and don’t want to emerge from. They’re a real love story from regency times that makes you heart quiver and I cannot express how much I have enjoyed reading this series.
